Employer-led skills sessions
Our evening employer-led skills workshops enable you to meet our highly motivated students in a more informal setting, as well as present the benefits of working for your organisation. Skills sessions cover subjects such as interview technique, application skills, assessment centres, networking and communication skills. Contact us for more details.
Networking evenings and panel events
We invite speakers from different sectors to talk briefly about their career to date and give students tips on gaining access to their sector. Previous talks have included: Working in Banking, Marketing, Advertising & PR, Working for a Charity, Working in Teaching, Working in an SME, Working in Technology, Careers for Psychologists, Careers for Lawyers, Careers for Scientists, Careers in the Film and Game Industry and Starting your own Business.
We regularly run employer-led CV check sessions in our Employability & Careers Centre on campus. These usually take place on Fridays, but other days can be arranged if this is more convenient for your organisation. Please contact us to find out more.
We would be delighted to host your organisation to run 40-minute mock interview sessions for students on campus. Please contact us for more details.
Pop–up stand on campus
An informal drop-in stand is an excellent way to introduce your company to students on campus. We can arrange for your company to have a stand in an area of campus with high footfall. Please contact us for more details.
Write a guest blog article
We'd be delighted if your organisation would like to feature on our Surrey Careers blog: blogs.surrey.ac.uk/careers. Give careers advice and guidance to our students whilst also raising your organisation's profile. Or perhaps you have a Surrey graduate or placement student working in your organisation that would be willing to share a testimonial. Please contact us to discuss this further.
If you're looking for sponsorship opportunities, please contact us for more details.
