Friday 19 May, 7pm

Have you ever wondered what a snowflake sounds like? Or how your name translates as a chord progression? Or what melody our solar system makes?
We have been experimenting with such questions and created a programme of music composed from different types of data. Visual, cosmological, biological, anything that we can extract data from, can be turned into music. It is within everything; your walk to work, a picture of your cat, your blood cell activity, anything from everyday life on Earth to the furthest stars in the universe.
So how can these things be musicalised? Watch our Music of Data performance and find out!

There will be an installation in PATS Lower Foyer from 6.30pm and again during the interval.
