Can you help us retain the Grad Sport title?

Grad Sport 2017 will be held on Saturday 13 May at Surrey Sports Park and this year we are excited to be holding our sporting event alongside the Festival of Wonder which celebrates the University’s 50th anniversary.

We are delighted to announce that the following 16 sports will be playing head-to-head with current University of Surrey students:

American Football, Badminton, Basketball, Dodge ball, Equestrian, Fencing, Football, Hockey, Lacrosse, Mountaineering, Netball, Rugby, Snow sports, Squash, Tennis and Ultimate.

We have secured alumni captains for most of our teams and from 1 March we will be recruiting alumni via email to join each captain to complete the teams. Last year saw a win for the alumni and we hope that you can join us to help us retain this title for 2017!

Grad Sport brings students – old and new – together to celebrate sport at Surrey and this year will offer a host of activities for the whole family at Surrey Sports Park and at the Festival of Wonder on both the Stag Hill and Manor Park campuses.

The Festival of Wonder is a family-friendly event, free to the local community and Surrey alumni. The programme will include a music, theatre and talks, as well as food stalls, sports activity and children’s entertainment. It will also incorporate a showcase of the science, technology and health innovations which are making a positive impact across the world and will help shape our future.
