Celebratory weekend marks alumni anniversary

Hotel and Catering Administration graduates know how to celebrate! Twenty-three alumni enjoyed a weekend of festivities in London to mark 40 years since starting at Surrey in 1977, and were joined by former lecturers Professor David Airey and Dermot Tredget.

Activities over the two days included a treasure hunt, wine tasting, cocktails and dinner, jazz entertainment and lunch, complete with 70s quiz. Many of the group are still in regular contact professionally and personally, proving that university can be the foundation of lifelong relationships.

The weekend was such a success that the group has decided to make it an annual event.
