Complete University Guide 2015: Surrey’s engineering courses given seal of approval

High-performing programmes within the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences good news for existing and prospective students.

The University of Surrey’s Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences (FEPS) has been praised for its engineering courses in the latest Complete University Guide 2015, with many subjects holding their strong position and others rising in their field.

Surrey’s Aerospace Engineering programme has climbed up a number, now eighth in the UK; and Surrey has been ranked third for Medical Technology. Civil Engineering, last year seventh in the 2014 guide, peaks at fifth. Electronic Engineering stays in fourth place and Mechanical Engineering is still within the top ten, ranked seventh. Chemical Engineering retains its spot within the top 20 and now stands at 14th against all other UK Departments of Chemical Engineering.

The University of Surrey has also been ranked twelfth overall in the Complete University Guide 2015.

The results confirm Surrey’s continued high standards of teaching and research, and show how FEPS is helping to produce the next generation of knowledgeable and employable graduates.
