Continued success in Hospitality and Tourism at Surrey

Impressive results in the Complete University Guide confirm Surrey’s strength in hospitality and tourism programmes.

Hospitality and Tourism at Surrey has received another boost, with the University being ranked third nationally in the ‘Hospitality, Leisure, Recreation & Tourism’ category by the Complete University Guide 2015.

While Surrey sits third in the table, it is actually the top-ranked university to offer tourism and hospitality programmes; the other universities in the top three focus on the leisure and recreation elements of the category.

Surrey’s pre-eminence in hospitality and tourism in the UK is confirmed by its number one ranking in the Good University Guide, the Guardian University Guide and the National Student Survey.

Professor Graham Miller, Head of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, commented: "I am delighted that these rankings confirm Surrey as the number one university for hospitality and tourism in the UK. From our new International Event Management BSc to forthcoming programmes in areas like air transport management, we are well-positioned to continue leading the way in years to come."
