Nominate a Surrey graduate for Vice-Chancellor’s Alumni Awards
Do you know a former Surrey student who has made an outstanding contribution to their field industry or society in the past three years?
The Vice-Chancellor’s Alumni Awards honour alumni across the world, and, in our 50th anniversary year, Professor Max Lu has introduced some new awards to further recognise graduate achievements.
The categories are:
• Alumni Achievement Award
• Lifetime Achievement Award
• Young Achiever Award
• Volunteer of the Year
The overall Vice-Chancellor’s Alumnus of the Year 2016 will be chosen from the winners in the Alumni Achievement Award category.
Last year research scientists Mrs Ameenah Gurib-Fakim was named the 2015 winner after a highly successful twelve months which saw her elected as President of Mauritius, the first woman to hold the ceremonial position.
Each winner’s name is added to a commemorative plaque in the library and there is a celebration lunch and presentation.
More details are available on our awards webpage and you can nominate online.
Please help us celebrate our amazing graduates!
