Nominate your business for county awards

Surrey Business School is once again delighted to be sponsoring the Young Business of the Year category in the Toast of Surrey awards 2017.

The awards, organised by the Surrey Advertiser, recognise the achievements of businesses across the county and celebrate the thriving Surrey economy in general.

Being shortlisted is a great way to raise a company’s profile – awards will be presented in front of more than 200 of Surrey’s top business people at a ceremony in Guildford. There is also a special post-awards supplement in the Surrey Advertiser and coverage on its website.

Nominations close on Friday 24 March 2017 - it would be great to see companies our alumni work for represented in the awards!

Last year’s Young Business of the Year winners were Ruby & Kind, a newly-established farm food shop in Cranleigh with local and artisan produce. Our Surrey Business School Toast judging team said: “The team behind Ruby & Kind has an authentic entrepreneurial spirit. They have built a genuine community base working with other local businesses, volunteers and give back through their work with schools.

Previous winners of the award are Seasons coffee shop in Woking and pet food supplier Nutriment. Each demonstrated a deep understanding of their customers and found innovative solutions to the challenges they faced in their first year of operating.
