Number one in the UK for hospitality and tourism

The Good University Guide ranks Surrey top of national league tables.

Hospitality and tourism programmes at the University of Surrey have been ranked number one nationally for the third year in a row by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide.

Surrey’s continued success in the field is reflected in a recent top-five position in the National Student Survey (NSS), which ranked student satisfaction at 93 per cent, and the strong employability of our graduates.

A range of other factors have also contributed to the result. Constantly rising entry tariffs ensure only the best students are admitted, while a truly international approach offers more opportunities than ever both for undergraduates to study abroad and for the best international students to come to Surrey.

All this is combined with Surrey’s unsurpassed industry connections in hospitality and tourism – reflected both in the relevance of the programmes offered and in the record number of Professional Training placements available – which give students a real advantage in their graduate prospects and future careers.

The success in hospitality and tourism also reflects that of the University as a whole, with Surrey climbing to eleventh place in the overall rankings.
