Spanish at Surrey ranks number one in the 2016 National Student Survey

Spanish degrees receive a 100 per cent satisfaction rating in final-year student survey.

The University of Surrey has been ranked number one in the Iberian Studies category of the National Student Survey (NSS) 2016.

Professor Diane Watt, Head of the School of English and Languages, said: “I am delighted that the School of English and Languages has achieved 100 per cent overall satisfaction in Iberian Studies.

“This is a reflection of the dedication and commitment of our staff, who go out of their way to give students the best possible educational experience, and also of the students themselves, who are incredibly motivated and hard working.”

The NSS is an annual survey that gives students the opportunity to have their say about their university learning experience. Feedback is given on teaching, assessment and feedback, academic support, organisation and management, learning resources and personal development.

The lecturers here are awesome because they are knowledgeable and very supportive. They have an open office policy which means you can go and see them any time. They will always find some way to help you.
