Success for University of Surrey subjects in QS World University Rankings
The QS World University Rankings 2016/17 have ranked the University of Surrey amongst the top universities worldwide, in 17 subject areas.
The University of Surrey has been ranked amongst the world’s top universities by this years’ QS World University Rankings, in 17 out of 46 of the international league table's subject categories and in all five of their broad subject areas.
Compared with 2015/16, the University has improved its subject rankings in nine categories, with a further six subjects maintaining their position.
Our programmes in Hospitality and Tourism Management were recognised amongst the best in the world, ranking in the top five of the international league table. The University also performed well in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (101-150) and Nursing (51-100).

The University of Surrey is currently ranked 261st overall by the QS World University Rankings.
