Surrey Academic delivers keynote speech at 5th Zurich Diagnostics Congress

Dr Ilke Inceoglu, Associate Dean for Research in the Faculty of Business Economics and Law and Senior Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the Surrey Business School, delivered a keynote speech at the 5th Zurich Diagnostics Congress, organised by the Institute of Applied Psychology, Zurich.

The keynote’s title was ‘Evidence based assessment in a global and digital age’. Dr Inceoglu gave the talk in German to an audience of approximately 200 assessment and psychometrics specialists who work in educational, clinical and employment assessment.

She discussed that while we now have more sophisticated methods and a lot of digital data available for diagnostics, it’s still important to review the evidence supporting these methods, especially in global contexts where we assess people across countries, cultures and languages.
