Surrey Law Professor’s article on sanitation rights published in the Guardian

Professor Rosalind Malcolm of the University of Surrey School of Law and director of the Environmental Regulatory Research Group has had an article on sanitation rights in Kenya and Uganda published in The Guardian newspaper.

The article, Bum deal: is access to a toilet a human right or a privilege? Describes how Kenya and Uganda have yet to provide adequate sanitation for all their citizens, despite its recognition by the UN as a human right.
