Guardian confirms Politics at Surrey as one of UK's top 10

Influential league table votes for Surrey's exceptional student satisfaction and teaching innovation in political studies.

Surrey has cemented its place among the UK's top-10 universities for politics, rising one place to 6th in the Guardian University Guide league table 2015. The University as a whole also moved into the top 6 for the first time, above institutions such as LSE, UCL, Durham, Lancaster and Warwick.

The Guardian bases its rankings on factors such as teaching excellence, student satisfaction and employability rates. With a near-perfect 99% NSS student-satisfaction score and award-winning innovators in teaching and learning, the Department is proving itself one of the most attractive places to study and research politics in the country.

The University recently achieved a top-10 student satisfaction rating of 92 per cent in the National Student Survey (NSS), ranking us 9th in the UK.
