Prestigious Royal Society of Medicine award for Health Sciences PhD Student

Wendy Marsh, a second year PhD student in the School of Health Sciences has been awarded the coveted 2014 Luke Zander bursary prize for her work towards her PhD project "Babies Removed at Birth: Narrative of Mothers and Midwives."
Judges reported a very high standard of entries for this year’s prize which will be awarded to Wendy on Tuesday 25th November at a meeting marking the thirtieth anniversary of the Maternity and the Newborn Forum. As the recipient of the award Wendy will also be invited to present her research at a future forum meeting.
Professor Jill Shawe, Lead for Maternal and Family Health said ‘this prize demonstrates the importance of Wendy’s area of research and we are very proud of her.’
