Dr Annette Kratz's visit to NCSU and the University of Maryland

Annette Kratz visited NCSU and the University of Maryland, College Park in October while attending the IIE Generation Study Abroad Summit in Washington DC.

Surrey became a Commitment Partner last December and the number of students from the USA on degree programmes and on exchange has already shown an increase.

In Maryland she met her two colleagues, Deborah Lake and Krista Uhrig to discuss expanding the current exchange agreement to a university-wide one and met one of the Maryland students in Criminal Justice joining Surrey in February. At NCSU she met three students coming to Surrey in February, colleagues in the Study Abroad Office and caught up with some of the Surrey students currently at NCSU over brunch.
