Surrey Sports Park
Surrey Sports Park is a £36m development that excites anyone with a sporting interest. Located opposite the Royal Surrey County Hospital, the park is open to the local community to enjoy the benefits of exercise, fitness, dance and sport. From racquet sports, a gymnasium and an Olympic-sized swimming pool to award-winning grass pitches, fitness studios and a climbing wall, the Park has something for all ages and abilities. Surrey Sport’s Park also offers more than 100 drop-in group fitness classes, sports courses and sessions, term-time clubs and activities for children as well as holiday camps.
Since opening, the Park has become the full-time base of a number of professional sports clubs including:
- Superleague champions
- Surrey Storm Netball
- National badminton league team
- Surrey Smashers
- British Basketball League franchise
- Surrey Scorchers
- Guildford City, the UK top-five swimming club
Spectators can watch the professional clubs live in the Park’s 825-seat indoor arena.
