Your decision to study at SII-DUFE in China or the University of Surrey in the UK will determine your entry requirements and application process.

An average of 70 per cent or higher, with no module failures.

IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with 6.0 in Writing, 5.5 in Reading, 5.5 in Speaking, and 5.5 in Listening.

Application process

Step 1

 To study at the SII-DUFETo study at the University of Surrey
Route one

During your sophomore year at DUFE, enrol and take an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam.

Complete your sophomore year at DUFE with an average score of 70 per cent in your modules, with no failures.

During your sophomore year at DUFE, enrol and take an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam.

Complete your sophomore year at DUFE with an average score of 70 per cent in your modules, with no failures.

Route two

Complete all 18 English language modules.

Complete your sophomore year at DUFE with an average score of 70 per cent in your modules, with no failures.

Step 2

Complete an online application form in your second year, as advised by the SII-DUFE Registry Office, nominating where you would like to study your dual-degree programme. You will have four options:

Option oneStudy for two years at SII-DUFE in China and be taught by University of Surrey staff.
Option twoStudy for one year at SII-DUFE in China and then one year at the University of Surrey in the UK.
Option threeStudy for two years at the University of Surrey in the UK.
Option fourStudy for two years at the University of Surrey in the UK and complete a Professional Training placement in between.

Please note, acceptance depends on whether you meet the academic and language requirements to continue into one of the dual-degree programmes at SII-DUFE in China or transfer to the University of Surrey.
