Disability and Learning Diversity

The Disability and Neurodiversity Service provides support to all students at the University of Surrey with a disability as defined by The Equality Act (2010). This includes: Specific learning differences (e.g. dyslexia, dyspraxia), Autistic spectrum conditions, Physical disabilities, long-term medical conditions and sensory impairments, Mental health conditions.

What we do:

  • Arrange and put into place reasonable adjustments for any aspect of your time at the University of Surrey
  • Implement exam arrangements
  • Offer SpLD screenings
  • Provide advice on the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA)
  • Provide 1:1 study skills and mentoring sessions
