The National Taiwan University Rankings (NTU) looks at universities around the world and judges them on the productivity, impact, and excellence of their scientific research papers.

In the NTU’s most recent league table, it ranked the University of Surrey as one of the elite institutions for Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Social Science and Civil Engineering research.

Professor Vincent Emery, Senior Vice-President at the University of Surrey, said: “We are completely dedicated to becoming a university known not only for providing a world-classing education, but also for producing world-class research. This latest ranking demonstrates our key research strengths and we are looking forward to seeing many more of our subject areas ranked in the top 250 in the future.”
