Dr Prashant Kumar's research proposal ‘Next-Generation Environmental Sensing for Local To Global Scale Health Impact Assessment’ has been chosen to receive funding from the UGPN Research Collaboration Fund 2016. The total amount of funding awarded to this quadrilateral project is $40,000, with up to $10,000 (approximately £7000) available from each Partner.
Dr Prashant Kumar has built this consortium with North Carolina State University, University of Sao Paulo and University of Wollongong. With the aim to also help raise the Department's profile internationally. Dr Kumar is one of 8 winners (and one of the two winners in quadrilateral category).
