Emily LeRoux-Rutledge accepted to UK-US Early Career Workshop funded by the British Academy.

Emily LeRoux-Rutledge has successfully applied to attend a UK-US Early Career Workshop on the topic of violence, funded by the British Academy, in Boston in February 2018.

Emily will be discussing her current research, which looks at how the identities of refugee and diaspora groups in the UK are affected by ongoing violence in their countries of origin.

The BA will pay for travel, accommodation and subsistence, and will make seed funding available at the end of the workshop to support collaborations between UK-based and US-based scholars.
