The third episode of A Safe Space, our new mental health and wellbeing podcast, is available now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and other platforms. This month's discussions centre around student life. How do we cope with the pressures of study?

About Episode 3

Coming to university is a huge period of adjustment - but how do we process this change? Dr Ian Bailey and Simon Downs are joined by students Wei and Ash. They discuss the issues their experiences of mental health at uni, the downfalls of putting on a ‘brave face’, the importance of sharing how you feel with those around you, and most importantly, their advice for other students.

If you’re a student, there’s are a range of support services that you can access in-person or remotely via email, phone and video chat:

  1. Centre for Wellbeing
  2. Chaplaincy
  3. Peer support service.
