One day, one mission

Join us on 27 November when we celebrate Giving Tuesday, a global movement which encourages people to give to charities or causes that they care about.

It’s a great way to get the whole Surrey community of alumni, students and staff involved in raising money for students facing unexpected hardship and improving the student experience by investing in our wide range of clubs and societies.

Last year, 78 students faced severe hardship, due to a wide range of unforeseen situations such as parental bereavement or redundancy, and received urgent funding to help them cover immediate costs, allowing them to continue their studies.

Support was also given to our wide range of sports clubs to increase the number of students who can participate while also allowing our competitive teams to benefit from the latest equipment. By joining us and donating this Giving Tuesday, together we can transform lives for the better.

We will be using our social media channels to recognise the support that the University has received, as well as explaining how our supporters can donate to the University. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and our surreyalumni Instagram account to keep up to date on the day.

Make a donation, spread the word and see what we can achieve together!
