Research, Impact and the UK Parliament – training opportunities for academic researchers
Houses of Parliament are offering regional training events for academic researchers called ‘Research, Impact and the UK Parliament.’ The aim of the events is to enhance how we use research to engage with Parliament. The events take place monthly across different regions with the UK.
All researchers, at any stage of their career, are eligible to attend these events. They can expect to learn more about Select Committees, legislative scrutiny, the House of Commons/House of Lords libraries and the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) and how best to engage with them individually. As well as learning how research is used in the UK Parliament.
