Surrey Teaching Fellow makes Law Teacher of the Year shortlist

Teaching Fellow Nick Clapham, from the Surrey University School of Law has been nominated for the Oxford University Law Teacher of the Year 2017 and has made the shortlist of six finalists.

The six finalists were selected from an extremely strong pool of nominations, all of which were fully anonymised. The judges only found out who they had selected once the decision had been made.

Each nomination was backed by at least two sponsors, and was accompanied by supporting statements from the candidate and their head of department. The judges have visited the University and observed one of Nick’s lectures and spoken with staff and students in support of his nomination.

The winner will be announced at the Celebrating Excellence in Law Teaching conference in Warwick on Thursday 29 June.
