You’re amazing – share your story!

We have some amazing alumni around the world and one of the ways we recognise the successes of our graduates is through the Vice-Chancellor’s Alumni Awards.

Nominations are now open for the 2019 awards, so please tell us about the alumni who deserve this accolade – and don’t forget you can also nominate yourself.

Whether you’re just starting out in your career or have a lifetime of experience, the awards are a chance for you to share your achievements and receive recognition for your work.

We want to celebrate Surrey and Battersea graduates who have made an outstanding impact on society or in their sector, or who have achieved something out of the ordinary. Maybe you’ve made great strides in your career, become a successful entrepreneur or contributed positively to culture or society.

There are five categories, open to all of our graduates around the world:

  • Young Achiever
  • Alumni Achievement
  • Lifetime Achievement
  • Outstanding Contribution to Society
  • Outstanding Contribution to Surrey

How to apply

To read more details on the criteria for each category, please visit our awards page. Nominating is easy – simply fill in the form, summarising why you think you or your nominee should win by 21 January 2019.

Winners will be invited to a celebratory dinner to receive their award and their success shared on our website and in our annual alumni magazine, Forever Surrey. The overall Alumnus or Alumna of the Year is chosen from entries in the Alumni Achievement category.
