School of Health Sciences open day travel and parking
Our School of Health Sciences open days take place on our Manor Park campus.
We have a very limited amount of open day parking on campus so we recommend that you use public transport to travel to the University instead of coming by car.
Travelling by train
Direct trains from London Waterloo to Guildford station take as little as 34 minutes.
Search for train times and tickets on the National Rail Enquiries website.
Once you arrive in Guildford station, hop on our free open day shuttle bus, which will run between the train station (both front and rear entrances) Stag Hill and Manor Park campuses between 8am and 4pm on this day.
For School of Health Sciences open days, take the shuttle bus to Manor Park Reception and then follow signs to the School of Health Sciences building, a two-minute walk away.
Travelling by car and parking information
If you do need to drive to the School of Health Sciences open day, please head to our Priestley Road car park (GU2 7YH), which is located next to our School of Health Sciences main building.
When this car park is full, you will be directed to local pay and display car parks in Guildford town centre. From these car parks, you can walk to the train station and catch the free shuttle bus to Manor Park campus.
Roads around Manor Park campus are likely to be particularly busy on these days, so please consider this when planning your journey.
Please note: Open day car parking is not available at the Research Park or Royal Surrey Hospital.
Parking for disabled visitors
If you need a disabled parking space, please ask a parking marshal when you arrive at Priestley Road car park. They'll then direct you to the most suitable place to park.
View more information for open day visitors with disabilities or special access requirements.
Unfortunately, we do not have a left luggage facility on campus and you will need to keep all personal belongings with you at all times.
