Before the open day
Plan your journey
Our open days run from 9am until 4pm. Make sure you leave plenty of time to get here, but don’t worry - you don’t need to arrive on campus at a specific time, you can visit us anytime during these opening hours. Read our advice on travelling to an open day.
Choose your talks
Browse our subject talks and tours and make a note of the ones you want to attend.

Remember to check in
When you arrive, please head to the check-in points on our Stag Hill campus where we will scan your ticket (which you'll be sent via email) and collect your open day map.
Check-in points are located on the Piazza and at the University's back entrance, by Yorkies Bridge (which you'll pass if you walk to the University from the town centre or station).
Visiting the Vet School?
If you’re a prospective Vet School student, please go straight to our Manor Park campus and check in at our Vet School main building. Find out more about our Vet School open day.
Take a campus tour
Our friendly student tour guides will show you around our Stag Hill campus and give you the lowdown on living in Guildford. Tours take between 45 and 60 minutes and leave from the Piazza. Learn more.
Discover our student accommodation
Take a self-guided accommodation tour, attend an accommodation talk and visit our accommodation exhibition to learn more about living on campus. Find out more.
Head over to Manor Park
Hop on our free shuttle bus to Manor Park that runs every 10 minutes. Take a look at the impressive facilities at our £36m Surrey Sports Park, tour our student accommodation and see the location of our new School of Veterinary Medicine.
If you’re interested in studying veterinary medicine, read more about our Vet School open days.
Take a moment to relax
With so much to see, it’ll be a busy day - but try to leave enough time to sit back with a drink or a bite to eat so you can soak up the open day atmosphere. If you have time between talks and tours, don’t forget to stroll down to the Stag Hill campus lake, set in our beautiful landscaped grounds.
Once you’ve finished your open day, why not head into Guildford? The shops, sights, restaurants and cafés are only a short walk from campus, or you could hop on the free shuttle bus and stroll from the station.
