Vet School Open Day travel and parking

We have a very limited amount of Open Day parking on campus so we recommend that you use public transport to travel to the University instead of coming by car.

Travelling to the Vet School by train

Direct trains from London Waterloo to Guildford station take as little as 34 minutes.

Search for train times and tickets on the National Rail Enquiries website.

Once you arrive in Guildford, hop on our free Open Day shuttle bus or take a 15-minute walk to the Piazza on our Stag Hill campus. From the Piazza, you can then catch the free Manor Park shuttle bus to the Vet School Open Day.

Shuttle buses run from around 8am to 4pm.

Vet School parking

Manor Park campus is a car-free zone and parking is very limited.

If you do need to drive to the Vet School Open Day, please head to Manor Farm car park. The car park is around five minutes’ walk from our main Vet School building.

When this car park is full, you will be directed to local pay-and-display car parks in Guildford town centre, so please bring parking change with you.

Please note: Open Day car parking is not available in the Surrey Sports Park Car Park. This car park is for limited stay only and camera controlled.

Parking for disabled visitors

If you need a disabled parking space, please ask a parking marshal when you arrive at Manor Farm car park. They'll then direct you to the most suitable place to park.

View more information for Open Day visitors with disabilities or special access requirements.

Unfortunately, we are unable to store luggage in any of our buildings during Open Days.
