Self-disclosure in adolescent in therapy for eating difficulties: A Q-sort methodological studyThis study aims to explores factors that are considered likely to influence the decision to disclose during psychological therapy by adolescents who experience eating difficulties. The study uses Q-sort methodology which requires participants to sort 47 statements onto a grid reflecting which statements make them more or less likely to disclose information about their eating difficulties during therapy. Ken-Q analysis is then used to extract factors reflecting the common view points amongst participants. The factors extracted are then interpreted along side demographics and qualitative feedback provided by participants.
