Diverse Voices and Ideas on Intervention
In this video Maisaa Aldarsa of Birzeit University and Ahmed Asmar of Al-Azhar University talk about their time attending the summer school run by the Centre for Comparative Conflict Studies (CFCCS) and taught by Dr Maxine David of University of Surrey.
They speak to Dr David about their experiences on her course on international intervention and offer a moving insight into what it is like for Palestinians to be exposed to the ideas debated and methods used in the summer school. Their words are a testament to the power of education and to the need to ensure opportunities for free and frank exchange of opinion in an educational setting are available to all people, regardless of where they hail from.
