All separate glossaries have been put into one document that covers all regulations and Codes of Practice. The glossary does not repeat text that is regulatory in nature; such information is within the main body of the relevant regulations.
All separate introductions have been put into one introduction to explain applicability, theories and general principles. The introduction contains the list of University awards.
A1 Regulations for taught programmes
A2 Regulations for research degrees
A3 Regulations for research degrees on the basis of published works
A4 Regulations for practitioner doctorate degrees
A5 Regulations for higher doctorates
PART C - Governance regulations
The previous Section H Regulations for the conduct of examination and other forms of assessment has been dissolved. Relevant content has been put into the Code of practice for assessment and feedback and the content relating to operational matters will become part of guidance issued by the Academic Registry.
The previous section H Regulations for External Examining duplicated most of what is in the Code of practice for external examining: taught programmes and has now been dissolved.
Work is ongoing to review processes for dealing with academic integrity issues in relation to PGR students as a result of Universities UK guidance. There will be a new Code of practice which will supersede Annex 1 of the Regulations for academic integrity.
