Our MSc in Veterinary Microbiology can be taken as a full or part-time course and has been designed for graduates, those already working in veterinary diagnostic and research laboratories, and staff from other laboratories who want to enhance their understanding of the role of micro-organisms in animal health and disease.

Our MSc in Veterinary Microbiology is delivered by a collaboration comprising of the University of Surrey and two influential veterinary microbiology institutions: the BBSRC funded Pirbright Institute and the Government sponsored Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA).
As a student here you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the diagnosis of important veterinary diseases within the world reference laboratories of these organisations.
