DCMS Bursaries for GCHQ-Accredited MSc Information Security Programme

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is again providing bursary funding for adults looking to retrain and start a new career in cyber security. The bursaries are for GCHQ-certified courses including the MSc Information Security programme offered by the Department of Computer Science and supported by the Surrey Centre for Cyber Security (SCCS, a GCHQ recognised Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research), University of Surrey.

As part of the National Cyber Security Programme, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is providing bursary funding for adults looking to retrain and start a new career in cyber security. The bursaries are for GCHQ certified courses only. We have been working with DCMS and anticipate bursaries being available for our GCHQ certified Masters in Information Security course. Full criteria will be published shortly but the bursaries will be focused on career transitioners rather than students coming straight from undergraduate courses. Bursaries will be for tuition fees only.
