Integrated masters

At Surrey, we offer integrated masters courses in biochemistry, chemistry, physics, mathematics and across the engineering disciplines.

Benefits of an integrated masters

An integrated masters degree combines both undergraduate and postgraduate-level study within one course, enabling you to build an advanced understanding of your subject and setting you up for a technical or research career in industry or academia.

What you will study

On an integrated masters course, you'll typically study the same content as on a BSc (Hons) programme for the first three years, followed by a year of masters-level content, including a major research project or engineering design project (depending on your chosen degree). A typical integrated masters degree lasts four years.

Depending on your course, you may also be able to take a Professional Training placement.
