The Surrey Garden Society, formed to run the Campus Garden project in June 2014, has become the fastest growing club in the Students' Union.
The Library & Learning Centre is the academic heart of the University, which also includes the AppleSeed bookshop and a popular ground-floor meeting area.
Here you’ll find a vast collection of books and journals plus you can access the electronic collection of books and journals on or off campus. There are silent areas for individual study, communal learning zones for group work, and bookable rooms.
The Library is open daily, staying open 24 hours a day during semester and for long opening hours during vacations and outside semester weeks. We have an academic librarian for each subject area who will introduce you to the Library and help you to find and use the information resources for your academic needs.
We run campus tours every Wednesday at 1pm - a great opportunity to explore our facilities and services.
Featuring world-class facilities and host to a number of professional teams, athletes and sporting events, if you're into your sport, the multi-million-pound centre will soon be a place you'll grow to love.
Whether you’re into clubbing or comedy, live music or pub quizzes, you’ll find plenty to keep you entertained without even having to leave campus.
Our Students’ Union houses five bars and three food outlets, so you’re bound to find something that appeals to you.
Rubix, the Students’ Union’s 1,600-capacity nightclub, has the finest sound and light facility of any Union club in the country. Individual music tastes are catered for, with several music societies which stage gigs from trance, dance and funk to indie, rock and metal.
Our campus is a self-contained community where you can make the most of student life. With social and leisure facilities, cafes and restaurants, coffee bars and common rooms, you'll find everything you need.
The Students’ Union organises an exciting programme of activities, events and experiences for you to try - from creative workshops to trips abroad. Join a student society and you’ll have the opportunity to meet new people and try something different.
