Biography

Having graduated with a Degree in Physics from the University of Surrey, I worked as a teacher of Physics in schools for a while, eventually being lured into industry to teach adults to use computers. I worked in the IT industry for a significant period of time rising to senior management.

Then combining my technical skills with healthcare I trained as an Operating Department Practitioner. I became more and more involved in the education aspects of the role and hence – coming full circle - joined the University in 2008 to come back into full time education and teaching
