Biography

• Associate Tutor and Lecturer, lecturing on Mathematical Economics, Numerical and Computational Methods, Numerical Solution of Partial Differential Equations (PDEs), Probability, and the Theory of Water Waves, as well as providing pastoral care to undergraduates.
• Visiting Fellow (2010 - 2011), working on a science media blog to inform researchers and academics.
• British Science Association Media Fellow (2009) with the news team at the journal Nature.
• Associate Lecturer and Visiting Researcher (2008 - 2010), lecturing on the Numerical Solution of PDEs.
• Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Physiological Fluid Mechanics (2003 - 2008) on a joint research project with Harvard University and the University of Surrey.
• Associate Lecturer and Visiting Researcher (2003), lecturing on Advanced Statistical Methods, and Mathematics.
