Our Vet School Open Days take place on our Manor Park campus.

Open Days include an exciting programme of talks and facility tours, and offer you the chance to chat to our academics and meet our current students.

Read our tips to help you plan your day so you can make the most of the Surrey Open Day experience.

Before you arrive

Plan your journey

We recommend you allow at least four hours for your visit. Make sure you leave plenty of time to get here, but don’t worry - you don’t need to arrive on campus at a specific time.

Vet School Open Day, Manor park campus

Remember to check in

When you arrive, please head to the Check-in point in the Vet School main building where you need to show your ticket and collect your Open Day bag and map.

Attend your subject talk

Explore Manor Park

Manor Park is home to lots of our student accommodation as well as Surrey Sports Park. Find out more about Manor Park Open Day activities.

Main University Open Day, Stag Hill campus

Once you’ve attended your subject talk and toured our Vet School facilities, head over to Stag Hill, our main University campus. You can hop on our free shuttle bus that runs every ten minutes from 8:10am to 4:25pm. 

Stag Hill is home to our Students’ Union, Library and Learning Centre, shop and cafés, a beautiful lake and lots of our student accommodation. It also hosts our Open Day Information Fair.

Take a campus tour

Our friendly student tour guides will show you around our Stag Hill campus and give you the lowdown on living in Guildford. Tours take between 45 and 60 minutes and leave from the Amphitheatre by the Student Services Centre. Learn more.

Discover Guildford

Once you’ve finished your Open Day, why not head into Guildford? The shops, sights, bars and cafés are only a short walk from campus, or you could hop on the free shuttle bus and stroll from the station.
