We have a range of services to support you during your time at the University of Surrey.
Student Services Centre
The Student Services Centre is located in the middle of campus and our friendly staff are trained to provide key information, advice and guidance on many University services and student life.
Our Student Money Advisers based in the Student Services Centre can give you a financial health check. If you experience a delay in your student funding, you can speak to them to find out if an emergency loan from the University may be available to help you.
Our International Student Support Advisers provide a professional and dedicated advisory service; helping with pre-departure and transition into life in the UK.
We have lots of friendly people on hand to help you in your accommodation.
Student Life Mentors
A team of current students work as mentors and visit new students in campus accommodation regularly, providing student life peer support, advice and guidance. If your mentor can't help, they’ll know who can. Learn more about student mentoring.
Our Wardens also live on campus and are responsible for residents’ welfare and discipline. Your warden is there to support your residential experience by listening to any concerns you have. You can expect your warden to be open, aware of communal living challenges, available at agreed times and able to take action to resolve any issues.
Living off campus?
If you are living off campus, we provide support to students living off campus which includes both peer mentoring and help with private sector accommodation issues. To arrange this, get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
