The £16 million Library and Learning Centre includes silent areas for individual study and communal learning zones for group work, as well as a huge collection of print and electronic books, journals and other resources.
The Library has dedicated team of Learning Development Advisors who are on hand to advise students on all aspect of academic study, including written work, presentations and time management.
The Library is open 24 hours a day during semesters.
We offer a range of services for dyslexic and disabled students. This includes the use and loan of specialist equipment and providing information about funding study-related support from the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA).
SurreyLearn, the University’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), provides students with easy access to course-related teaching and learning materials.
The Library has over 1,240 study spaces and over 400 open access computers.
