National Resource Centre for Dance
The National Resource Cente for Dance (NRCD) was founded in 1982 with the aim of providing support services for dance education and research. Now, as part of the Archives and Special Collections department, the focus of our work is on our large holdings of archive collections. These are open to any researcher or member of the public interested in the collections. Also, we do have a range of resources available which were originally produced to support dance teaching and study.
Access our archives
Our archive represents a wide range of theatrical, educational, and theoretical dance development and activity in the UK. We hold a substantial core reference collection, over 50 special collections and regularly accession new reference material and donated archives.

We have a range of projects that we have been involved with.
