Welcome to the Department of Music and Sound Recording at the University of Surrey.
On these pages you will find information about our undergraduate programmes, our postgraduate degrees (MMus, MRes, MPhil and PhD), our research activities, our links with various sectors of the music industry, and our diverse programme of student and professional performances.
The site is split to reflect the two main disciplinary emphases within the Department, but there is a high degree of commonality between our activities, epitomized by the availability of most optional modules across the undergraduate programmes, and the recording of student performances by Tonmeister students.
