Corporate Finance student experiences day-in-the-life of a trader

Four students took part in the activity, spending a day trading on foreign exchange. Vasilis shares an overview of his day:

“The day began with training, highlighting the strategy we should follow, as well as the rules that we needed to obey while trading with virtual money accounts.

The rest of the day we traded accordingly and each one of us reported gains and losses every hour. Our performance was monitored and at the end of the day, one of us won a bottle of wine from the company as a prize.

The day provided great insights into the day-in-the-life of a day-trader, as well as an input into a 9 to 5-hour working day. The experience was good and the team at Alphachain were extremely helpful, they provided precious career tips and made us feel very comfortable.”
