Opening hours

The Library is currently only open to students, not members of the public.

We are open 24/7 - in order to visit the Library, you will need to book a study space.

The Library is the home of Library and Learning Services, bringing together the spaces, expertise, and materials that support the University community in their learning, teaching and research journeys.

You can access the Library online and get academic skills support online.

Please email the Library with any enquiries. Please check our Twitter page for updates.

Are you a current student?

If so, take a look at library information relevant to you on our MySurrey Library pages.

Archives and special collections

We house over 100 collections to support study and research including collections from the National Resource Centre for Dance, several collections related to renowned illustrator E H Shepard (Winnie-the-Pooh and The Wind in the Willows) and a range of other subject-specific collections.
