Campus tours

Campus tours are an opportunity for visitors to see and get a feel for our Stag Hill campus. Tours are guided by current students who can answer questions about student life and their experiences of studying at the University of Surrey.

About our guided campus tours

Campus tours offer an introduction to the University and an opportunity to see the campus. You will also have a chance to speak with current students and admissions staff to find out more about studying at Surrey. Depending on availability, there may be a chance to view some of the student accommodation we offer.

Please note, our campus tours are currently postponed but will be resuming from Friday 21st May. Please return to this page from the 29th April for further details. In the meantime, you can join Annie for a virtual tour of our beautiful campus so that you can still get a feel for life at Surrey! If you have any questions about studying with us after the tour, please get in touch via

Explore our campus

We offer the best of both worlds, a friendly campus university set in beautiful countryside, with the convenience and social life of bustling Guildford on your doorstep.

Other ways to see the campus

If you are unable to attend a campus tour, there are other ways in which to get a feel for the campus.

International students

If you are an international student and you are arranging a visit to the UK but will not be able to make one of our scheduled tours, we may be able to organise an individual tour with one of our student ambassadors.

Please contact no more than one month beforehand with the dates and preferred times, and we will try our best to arrange a tour that suits your needs.

Self-guided campus tours

Our self-guided campus tour will enable you to take yourself around our Stag Hill campus. You can download the self-guided tour (PDF) in advance or access on your phone during your visit. The tour is fully outdoors, but if you do enter a building during your visit please ensure that you follow the guidance in that area. Signage will guide you through any one-way systems and will alert you to any pinch points or areas with capacity constraints. Please note that we require everyone on campus to wear a face covering when inside a building (unless you are exempt from wearing one) and ask all visitors to maintain a safe distance from others when walking around our campus.

Details of how to find us and parking on campus can be found on our visit pages.
