Our research is making a difference. The University of Surrey is committed to generating high-quality research that tackles some of the biggest global challenges of today and make a difference to the lives of people in our local community, across the UK and around the world.
Celebrating research impact
Innovation Exploratorium
Our Innovation Exploratorium research exhibits showcase the very best of our findings in a physical and interactive format. Visit the exhibits on our Stag Hill campus to:
- Understand how the built environment affects the local climate and how nature can benefit your wellbeing. Explore how bringing nature into your life can boost your wellbeing.
- Engage with steps you can take to reduce the heat impacts on urban environments of modern life.
The exhibits are available until April 2023, find out more about the exhibits and where they take place.
In this video, Professor Sampson, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Research and Innovation, and Gill Fairbairn, Head of Research Performance, explain why REF 2021 is so important for Surrey and express their thanks to everyone who contributed to such an inspiring and impactful submission.
