Booking
Yes - booking is essential to attend a Surrey open day. Book your place.
Once you have booked, your e-ticket will be emailed to you in due course. Please check your junk or spam folder if you have not received your e-ticket.
Your e-ticket will be scanned at check-in when you arrive at the open day. You can print your e-ticket or display on your mobile device.
Yes — subject talks must be selected when you book your open day place. Your e-ticket will confirm your booked talks.
Your e-ticket will admit you and one guest to the subject talk(s).
Most subjects take place during our morning or afternoon sessions on our Stag Hill campus. Veterinary medicine, health sciences and Guildford School of Acting (GSA) run dedicated sessions.
Please check the booking page carefully to select the correct option for your subject.
No — general talks and campus tours operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
No, only prospective students needs to book a place. Their ticket will entitle them and their guests to attend the open day.
You're welcome to bring as family and friends with you to a Surrey open day. Please note that subject talks and certain tours are limited to you and one guest due to capacity.
Children should be accompanied by an adult at all times.
For our Vet School sessions, each prospective student may attend their booked Vet School session with one guest only. This is due to space available within the facilities included in the Vet School tour.
Yes, our open days are free of charge.
Follow the "access your e-ticket and manage your booking online" link in your booking confirmation and e-ticket email.
Click on "cancel registration" at the bottom of the booking page.

Click on "register for more sessions" to add new subject talks/sessions to your booking.
To cancel an existing talk/session booking, click on the relevant session and select "cancel session registration".
You’re very welcome to attend. Visit drop-in areas, attend general talks and speak to staff and students for guidance.
On the day
- Guildford School of Acting session: Will run from 8:30am until 5pm.
- Health sciences and medicine session: Will run 8:30am until 4pm.
- Veterinary School sessions: We run four identical sessions throughout the day. Please refer to your ticket for your session start and finish times.
- All other subjects: The morning session starts from 8:30am. If you are attending the afternoon session, please arrive from 12:45pm.
Activities and sessions will take place at specific times during the open day. Please refer to your ticket for your booked talk(s)/session(s) and use the open day programme to plan your day.
Please allow plenty of time before your first booked subject talk to check in and find your session.
For our Vet School sessions, your e-ticket confirms your arrival time.
Yes, parking on campus is free of charge but is very limited. Please visit our open days travel advice for further advice to plan your journey and arrival.
Your e-ticket displays your check-in location and opening time. Please have your e-ticket ready to scan on arrival.
Locations are available on the talks and tours page and in your printed programme on the day.

We ask that only assistance dogs attend this event.
Yes, we will have examples of both our ensuite and shared bathroom accommodation that you can drop-in and explore during your visit.
Yes, our parking marshals will be able to direct you to a relevant parking space on the day. There is no need to pre-book this parking.
