Find answers to common open day questions.
Booking
No, only prospective students need a ticket.
We ask that only one guest attend the subject talks with the prospective student. This is because these talks are particularly popular and space is limited. Additional guests are welcome to enjoy other activities available as part of the open day.
For Vet School open days, each prospective student may attend their booked Vet School session with one guest only. This is due to space available within the facilities included in the Vet School tour.
You are welcome to cancel your booking by contacting opendays@surrey.ac.uk and one of the team will be able to assist.
On the day
Check-in opens at 8:45am and closes at 2pm.
Stag Hill, Guildford School of Acting, School of Health Sciences and Medicine (Graduate Entry) are open from 8:45am until 4pm.
Vet School open day sessions are running at specific times throughout the day. Please refer to your ticket for your session start and finish times.
Yes, example we will have Band C and Band D accommodation open. You will be able to drop in and view our open rooms at any time between 9am and 4pm.
We ask that only assistance dogs attend this event.
Parking and travel
Yes, parking is free of charge, please visit our open days travel advice for further advice to plan your journey and arrival.
Yes, our parking attendants will be based in our Stag Hill and Kate Granger car parks on the day of the event.
They will be able to direct you to a relevant parking space on the day.

Accessibility
So that we can help you get the most out of the open day, please email us in advance with details of your specific needs. This could be providing a wheelchair, support with assistive listening or anything else that you feel you may need. Please get in touch as soon as possible, so we can support you to make the relevant arrangements.
Although our Stag Hill campus is built on a hill, the majority is wheelchair accessible. View the University's accessibility information which also includes advice on our AccessAble app to support you during your visit.
On the day, visit our Information and Accessibility hub on Stag Hill piazza, where are student ambassadors will be able to provide further information on navigating our Stag Hill campus.
On our Manor Park campus please visit our registration desks (in either Vet School or Kate Granger Buildings) where our team will be able to provide you with further information and guidance on navigating this campus.
