Strengthening alumni collaboration
Mr Wu Ning, President of the University of Surrey China Alumni Association, visited the Surrey International Institute (SII) at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) on 24 September. The visit was opportunely aligned with the Surrey alumni event in Dalian, providing a platform for enhanced dialogue.
Professor Shi Da, Dean of SII-DUFE, welcomed Mr Wu and accompanying alumni delegates. During the visit, Professor Shi provided an overview of the Institute's latest developments in discipline-building, talent development and internationalisation. Mr Wu shared updates on the growth and activities of the China Alumni Association.
Both sides discussed potential collaboration in areas such as alumni engagement and student development, exploring collaborative initiatives with SII-DUFE to engage and support the University's growing community of alumni in China.
